Botox

Botox^® is a non-surgical procedure used to temporarily smooth out moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles. Botox is a purified derivative of the Botulinum Toxin A, which when injected directly into the facial muscles, blocks nerve impulses to the injected area. This prevents further muscle contractions, thus allowing the skin to become smooth over that relaxed muscle group. In some cases, with repeated treatments the wrinkle can actually disappear. The procedure is safe with minimal downtime. After the treatment slight redness to moderate swelling can occur.

How many treatments do I need?
Patients will see results after the first treatment. It is recommended to have treatments every 3 months as repeated treatments can lead to longer lasting results.
